Hello!

I'm an imaginative storyteller and self-taught SFX make-up artist from South Florida. I specialize in medically correct SFX makeup and prosthetics, creating visceral images on screen by providing a sense of realism, whether that be some form of disease, injury, or mutation to the human body. I have a passion for the unseen and human complexity, developing character driven narratives that explore the dark, often repressed truths of human behavior. I aim to craft narratives that unsettle, provoke, and challenge audiences to confront what they fear to acknowledge and question the thin line between perception and reality.

BFA Creative Writing | Film Minor

I have worked tirelessly over the past four years to earn my BFA in Creative Writing and have crafted many pieces that could be included to demonstrate my potential as a screenwriter. I have written short stories for fiction workshops, editorials on sexism in the film industry, film analysis essays, a creative nonfiction memoir, and poetry portfolios. Much of my work can be found on this E-Portfolio I designed, which was nominated and selected as a Featured Digital E-Portfolio for FSU's 16th Annual Digital Symposium.

On-Set Experience

SFX Make-up Artist

(2017-Present)

Writer, Director, and DP

(2017-2019)

Late Night (2025) — Horror/Thriller | Director: Barkin Ozturk (FSU BFA F3 Film)

  • Worked closely with the director to ensure SFX make-up enhanced the realism of the narrative by providing script suggestions that fit within the character’s setting and skills.

  • Under a 2-week time constraint before the start of shooting, I made a cast of one actor’s head to create a prosthetic replica of his face, which I applied to a different actor in alignment with the script narrative. Fabricated a prop box cutter, with tubing hidden inside, to portray active blood flow in a pivotal scene for the film.

JIT (2025) — Crime/Drama | Director: Samuel Correa (FSU BFA F3 Film)

  • Fabricated realistic tattoos, bruising, and on-set costume customization which aligned with characters in a gang and narrative flow. Adapted materials to suit diverse actors.

Before I Let Me Go (2025) — Drama/Thriller | Director: Lauren Kim (FSU BFA F3 Film)

  • Designed and fabricated multiple medically accurate gunshot wounds and customized the character’s costume, adding burn holes to reveal injuries and realism to character appearance. Managed make-up continuity across multi-day production under strict time constraints.

El Hijo (2025) — Drama/Thriller | Director: Lucas Gonzalez

  • Sculpted and fabricated prosthetic shotgun wound to the skull applied on a young actor. Created a fake barbed wire fence and femoral artery wound for an integral scene. Balanced creative vision of director with the safety of younger actor during shooting hours for scenes set in the woods of Tallahassee, FL.

Upset Heart (2025) — Music Video | Director: Samuel Correa

  • Conceptualized and applied make-up effects to visually interpret musical themes of heartbreak through floral imagery. Designed and fabricated flower-filled helmet the male actor wore.

Bad Tat (2024) — Crime/Comedy | Director: Cole Kelley (FSU MFA F2 Film)

  • Executed comedic tattoo and wound make-up application under tight production schedule.

Damned (2024) — Horror/Thriller | Director: Lukas Anderson (MFA Thesis Film) | SFX Assistant & PA

  • Aided in application and painting of prosthetic wound, as well as 3rd degree burn make-up.

  • Altered prosthetic to increase blood flow seeping from the wound to align with medical accuracy and supported production.

Did You Notice Me (2024) — Horror/Thriller | Director: Yami Abuid (FSU BFA F3 Film)

  • Designed and applied specific prosthetics to emphasize the psychological unease within the script. Fabricated exact replica of the actor's hand with tubing for active bleeding effect.

House 10–16 (2018) — Thriller | Director: Alexander Edep

  • Applied cheek laceration on antagonist and accurate blood splatter on the main character’s shirt to enhance narrative tension and tone. For the main character I applied bruises and facial wounds. This visually portrays that the main character was beaten for refusing to be compliant to her abusive partner, helping the overall story to show and not tell.

  •  All American High School Film Festival — Official Drama Selection.

Room 101 (2017) — Drama | Director: Alexander Edep

  • Created bruising for a black eye, a major head laceration and pool of blood for a high school film. The film was recognized by the All American High School Film Festival, earning a spot as one of the festival’s Official Drama Selection.

Stay Behind (2017) — War/Thriller | Director: Ryan Felberbaum

  • Fabricated realistic battlefield injuries, balancing battle authenticity with narrative flow. Utilized sweat-proof materials for long shooting days in the Florida Everglades.
